Ana Maria Island beach proposal - with Jon and Kelly

This was a special evening as I got to witness and capture Jon proposing to his girl Kelly on Ana Maria Island.  I was trying really hard be discrete and not be that creepy guy randomly taking photos of the moment!  We had the beach to ourselves as the thunder and lightning threatened all around us.  As if ordained by the heavens the storms loomed all around us but left a window of calmness for Jon to get down on one knee and ask the question…..Success! She said YES!  I've only gotten to photograph a few proposals thus far and it's a pretty special event to watch happen in front of you.  It's definitely one of those moments in which real emotion takes over and someone's world moves in slow motion for them.  I'm happy I was able to photograph one of these moments for Jon and Kelly.  Thank you guys for sharing this moment of yours with all of us.  Enjoy!
